Come and find "The Ghouls Come Haunting One by One" with Tom McDermott in a rare Thursday Book Signing for Halloween. The signing will be from 4p to 6p at the Book Spot.



Tom McDermott is a Ft. Worth based author and musician. He is taking his latest book around to local elementary schools and we are excited to be able to offer him an afternoon stop at our shop as well. Come on by after school with the kids, it will be a good time.

Card Making Class - Oct 22 @ 1pm

Mary is back for another great card making class. These classes always fill up so please RSVP right away. We will be making Halloween and Thanksgiving cards. The class is $10 and you cane RSVP by calling the shop, sending us an email or just stopping in!

Baby Dust Book Launch with Deanna Roy

We were honored to be a part of the Baby Dust book launch on Oct 15 with Deanna Roy. The Event was really well attended and Deanna's moving talk was just perfect! We appreciate eveyone for joining Deanna and us for this great signing!

Book Signings with Jessica Lee Anderson and PJ Hoover

We had a great time helping launch Jessica's new book, Calli and PJ's latest, Solstice. We had a great turn out and really enjoyed the company of two of Austin's best local young adult writers. It is always so much fun to share books with friends!

Book Spot Light - Oct 8 @ Noon

Saturday Oct 8 we will be hosting our first official Book Spot Light program. We have lined up four great local authors with a wide range of genres. The event will start at noon and run until 2pm. Each book will be priced less than $20, which is an incrediable price for a new release, local read. Come by and visit with our local authors!

Read-O-Rama with Llama Llama

This Thursday Oct 6 is Read for the Record with Jump Start. This year they have chosen Llama Llama Red Pajama. We will be having a story time at 10:30am and a Llama Llama Red Pajama Party at 7pm. Bring the preschool age kids for the morning story time and then everyone can come back for a special bedtime reading at 7pm. Please feel free to come in your PJ's (no they don't have to be red).
