Christmas Spectacular with the Texas Sweethearts and Scoundrels

It's always hard to find that perfect gift, but this Christmas, let the Book Spot help you out. On Saturday Dec 10 we are hosting the Texas Sweethearts and Scoundrels from noon to 2pm. Yes that is right, ALL of the Texas Sweethearts and Scoundrels will be at the shop for this great book signing. Jessica Lee Anderson, KA Holt, Jeanette Larson, Don Tate, PJ Hoover, Emma Virjan, and Jo Whittemore will all be joining us for a great shopping experience! The Texas Sweethearts and Scoundrels write great books for a wide audience from little kids to high school and adult readers.

Help Celebrate our Birthday Dec 3

Dec 3rd is a busy day. It is our first anniversary at our Book Spot location. That means cake for everyone. Also the 3rd is Take Your Child to a Bookstore Day (www.takeyourchildtoabookstore.org) so what better day to come by? Please come by and help us celebrate!

Thanksgiving Week Hours

The Book Spot will have special hours during the Thanksgiving Week.

Wednesday - 10am to 3pm (although we will stay open until we deliver our special orders)
Thursday - Happy Thanksgiving and Gig'em Aggies! - CLOSED
Friday - 1pm to 5 pm
Saturday - Shop Small! - Open early at 9am to 7pm
Sunday - Closed (as usual)

Cake Wrecks Book Signing - 11/15 @ 7pm

Cake Wrecks Fans, Come One, Come All. The Book Spot is excited to host the Austin stop of the Cake Wrecks Book Release Tour.

Come join Jen, John, and your fellow Wreckies for a night of fun, laughter, and – of course – cake! In addition to sharing our favorite stories and wreck photos, we’ll be hosting a cupcake “wreckplica” contest,* giving out prizes, taking questions, and maybe even signing a few books. With sprinkles. Also, I should mention that John is convinced no one will show up. Please prove him wrong so I can win a bet. And also so he can feel loved. But mostly the bet thing.

We will be hosting the party at the Round Rock High School's new Library Building at 301 Deepwood Dr. Please watch for the signs to guide you to the right place! The party starts at 7pm so get there early for your seat!
