Tea with Julia London - Sunday Mar 4 @ 4pm

On Sunday March 4 we will be having a tea hosted by Julia London. Julia is a New York Times best selling historical romance writer. Her latest books, The Year of Living Scandalously and The Revenge of Lord Eberlin, will be available for purchase and we will be taking pre-orders for signed copies of her next book in the series, The Seduction of Lady X, out in March. Please join us for this exciting Sunday event!

Story Time Sat 3/3 @ 1pm

We are excited to have local author, Don Winn, here at the Book Spot on Saturday. He will lead story time at 1pm for the kids. Don writes stories with a purpose and is frequently visiting school to help with character education messages. He will be reading his favorite stories and signing books afterward. Come and join us!

Hardback Book Sale on Saturday

Our $1 clearance rack has been so popular that this Saturday, Feb 18, we are having a $2 hardback sale from 10a to 6p. All of our USED hardback fiction (except books from the last 12 mths) will be just $2. If the weather permits, we may even pull a couple of tables outside to help lure people in. Come by and pick up a few.

Donna duBois - Mystery Writer - 2/11 @ Noon

We are excited to have Donna duBois at the shop talking about her latest book, The Sand Foundation on Saturday Feb 11. Her book, the first in a mystery series, is availible in paperback and is on-sale for just $10 this weekend! Additionally, Donna will be having a drawing for a $25 Gift Card to The Book Spot at 2pm!

We almost have the calendar full, but we are still working on a couple of last minute things for March. Cardboard Box Adventures now in the shop

We recently set up a book signing with local kids author, Don Winn. He has a wonderful learning series call the Cardboard Box Adventures. Come in the shop and check them out and stop in for his reading. More information will be posted soon!
